Switzerland showed impressive preparation in the first match against Czechs. Played attacking football, controlled the game, but one shot on target from Czechs finished this game 1:0. Players and nation was dissapointed about the result and referee decision, but stayed happy about the match.

Today's game against Turkey is do or die game and both teams need to win to achieve anything more then last place in the group stage. Before championship, everyone thought that these teams will be the weakest in this group. First games showed that probably yes, Turkey, is class under Portugal, while Swiss suprisingly played better than Czechs and deserved to get at least a draw. But we should forget this game.

I am sure both teams will go for a win here, as last round will be played against two favourites of the group, so if not to get anything from this game (I mean 3 points), then forget about going through this stage. I hope to see attacking football in this game, with Swiss controlling this match and trying to break Turkey's defence, which is not superb (our colleagues and partners from Turkey agrees about that as well).

One big miss in Swiss team is injury of Frei - he will be replaced by Hakan Yakin. Interesting fact, that 3 players from Swiss team are turkish born. But will it make any difference, it's hard to predict - it's enough to remember 2 Podolski's goals to Poland.

Turkey captain Emre will not play because of injury. Two players Gokhan Zan and Servet Cetin are doubtful as well.

Switzerland have not won 7 matches in the row at the European Championship: 2 draws, 5 defeats. It's the best chance to finish this streak against todays opposition, so attacking football looks on cards for me.

I can remember Turkey conceding two goals (2:2) against Malta (!) in qualifiers, as well as last friendly games against Belarus (2:2) and Uruguay (lost 2:3) - defence is not what coach can be proud of - that's only good for us, as we can see scoring Swiss and then the only option for Turkey to save this game is to attack. But the same scenario would be perfect for us - if Turkey scores, Swiss has no other option, so open game can provide us few goals.
